Calling Reg Meuross a singer-songwriter really doesn’t do the man justice. He doesn’t write lines of lyrics. He writes short stories then sets them to captivating melodies. Reg’s imaginative and finely crafted songs prompted Mike Harding to introduce him onto the stage of The Royal Albert Hall as “One of the finest singe-rsongwriters this country has produced”.
2017 heralds a new solo album, Faraway People, a fresh collection of songs which comment bravely on life as Reg sees it, from the ravages of austerity and the injustice of the plight of refugees, to some of most beautifully disarming lyrics ever written.
